I ordered this newer J22 because a friend of mine has the older J12 which is fantastic in every way, So I thought that ordering a newer model would be even better, or as good at least. Well, it's actually quite the opposite: The J22 is much heavier than the J12, the foam inserts are horrible, very flimsy / poor quality / scratchy and very uncomfortable, but that's a small detail. The deal breaker is that the J22 is 400g heavier than the j12, although they're both made of carbon. It's very difficult to figure this out when you order your helmet as the website does not stipulate clearly the weight of each model, per size. Actually the weight of the J22 is mentioned nowhere. I guess it's a sign that they don't want you to figure out that some models are actually super heavy, and that's a no go, especially when you race long enduros. The J12 is perfect, stay away from all other models.
